Match Reports

The Season So Far – filed by captain Hassan Udin on 3rd October

These past 5 games for CUKI FC have been outstanding; we have won 5 out of 5 games and everyone has put in 100% effort including the coaches. No matter the score CUKI always finds way to add 4,5,6 or more goals each game and it’s wonderful to see. Every game we are also bolstering our defence and now today we only conceded 2 goals which was the least we conceded since we started the season off. Overall CUKI has been brilliant in terms of quality and respect to the opposition and we cannot let this opportunity slip in the league as we have cup games coming up very soon. The sky is the limit for them and they are grasping every opportunity.

A Really tough competitive game against a really good side as we bounced back from last week loss.

In the first half we were punished after wasted chances in the first half as OTA got the first goal after a long range effort.

However a Great reaction saw us going Level into half time at 1-1 after a sublime header by @gaffa_k .

Second half team talk saw us come out on top as a brilliant strike by @ash_ahmadi3 saw his effort fly into the bottom right corner.

We closed off the game as Abz was through on goal and went round the keeper to see of the game in the final 15mins.

A Tactical and Physical game from both teams as we look to take on today’s win into next weeks CUP game.

Scorers: JR. Silva, Alawi & Ismalia

Wow what a game from start to finish after a return of games after 2 weeks we picked up where we left and that was with another 3 points! 👏🏽

The Opposition gave a us a real fight after Conceding the first goal after an instant reply back from a long range effort from jr.silva with equaliser.

Just before we half time another range effort this time by anz which was spilled by the keeper only for alawi to tap it in on the rebound.

Second half a few tactical substitutions and it wasn’t long before that man Ismalia with looped header over the keeper from a wonderful set piece play.

Big shout out to Big Mo for some really unbelievable saves 🧤 which gave us big breathing space to see out the game after the opposition pulled a goal back late on.

MOTM: Big mo 🧤

Week 9 – Sunday 21st November

v Gatley Road (h)

3 - 2 (l)

Our Sunday afternoon ended in Defeat as we went to battle against a very clinical Gatley team.

Although we were the better side it was one of those games where the performance didn’t reflect the scoreline.

24 minutes into the game the Referee awarded a  penalty which was converted from the spot.

4 minutes later we responded perfectly with an equaliser from @ash_ahmadi3 after a great rocket strike from long range which found the bottom right corner.

Shortly after the opposition went ahead again after a strike on the edge of the box found the roof of the net.

Just minutes before half time a lovely whipped in ball by @hasan2k00 found the head of @haych.h who came darting in at the back post to send us level into the break.

Second half was a battle to take all three points and we were unlucky not to do so as we hit the woodwork 3 times in the second half we seen us punished after the opposition nicked a late goal to seal all 3 points and continue their unbeaten run and overtake us in 1st on + GD.

Week 10 – Sunday 28th November  11:00
