The Manchester FA in partnership with England Netball are running beginners football and netball sessions for women and at Denmark Road Sports Centre every Thursday from 13:00 to 14:30. The sessions are aimed refugees and asylum seekers aged 16 and above. No advance sign-up is necessary.
Special arrangements have been made to respect the privacy of the women taking part. The hall where the activity will take place has no windows and no men will be allowed near that area or the route to it. In addition, the window on the door to the hall will be blacked out to ensure no male passers-by can see any of the women.
